Adding a form to my page

I used Dreamweaver to make a form that i want my members to fill out. I have supplied the text boxes for them to fill out and got the submit button and reset button. now I want it to on the submit command to post to a thread on my forum. How do i enter the code for that? and where do i get the code? I am so confused on this and have spent weeks mulling over this.
