Ok, so i found a tutorial on how to set up a shop on my forum... I used everything set it up.. and this kid sends me a message as a guest.. He threatened me, saying if i don't take it off he's going to report my forum and get it deleted? What's this guys problem..?

Here's what he said..

Hello I am a friend of the maker of the store source code that ghost stole from you, I'm giving you 8 days to take it off unless I will report your forum to forumotion.com and you will get deleted.

If you don't breaking the TOS (terms of service) I think that person are not sure in that he doing. If he has evidence he can send a report. Read https://www.forumotion.com/en/create-forum/terms-of-service.htm

It's a common shop use.. So therefore he can't do anything about it.. What makes me mad is he came on my forum and threaten to report it.. That's real smart.

If the author of the tutorial is written and you have get the permission of the tutorial's author it's good. But if not, I advice you to delete the tutorial, and thank the person that gave you a chance. Wink

Right just to ask you some thing

Did you get the info off this site or did you copy the info off of some one elses forum i ask this as some forums have a copyright on them

If they have a copyright on there forum and you did copy it then you should remove it from your forum
If the site Don't have a copyright then you have not done wrong at all and you have the right to keep it,,,

Best thing to do is go to the place you got it and give us a link so we can tell if you have done wrong
