Solved Facebook Connect not working..

I FORGOT TO FILL IN 1 FIELD CORRECTLY (APP DOMAIN).

Yes i am, i inserted all the information in my ADMIN PANEL, and it gives me that message.

Hi,

What happens if you remove your current date, save it, deactivate the module, the re-add your data, save & enable it?

Does the same error occur?

Just try to keep an open mind to all kinds of troubleshooting. Once we know more of whats going on, we fix it Very Happy

Just like troubleshooting if your internet is down, first you reset the modem.router, then you proceed. Generally the most simple, or first task is the one that resolves it.
I've had this happen to myself before, and doing the things I detailed above solved, in other forum's it didn't and I had to digress with other idea's of fixing it, which it did eventually get fixed Wink

You need to remove the app secret id from the post 3 posts up.
It can be used for mailicious things and for people to steal encrypted data sent between your app and facebook... and well i'm not gonna explain anymore whilst its on view.

A moderator needs to remove the app secret from above. There is a reason it is secret and told not to share with anyone!

Activate automatic login : [] Yes [] No
Activate friends invitation message : [] Yes [] No

So what happens when you fill out this?

Can you take a screenshot of your Admin Control Panel, the page where you sort out the facebook connect.

(but cover the app secret)

@Anon, if you get a new key from FB, start the process over - delete your current one, then open a new one, what happens?
