Rank Help

Post by Tom B5`7 on March 23rd 2012, 9:33 pm

In the Rank Administration page, I am trying to add my ranks. I have the text that each rank is going to be.

Like it says:

Alpha Company(centered)

Colonel(centered)

The rank image stays to the left, and I do not know how to center it.

This is when someone posts in the forums by the way, on the left hand side.

EDIT: Also, is it possible to have the rank image BEFORE the text box. I do not know any HTML or internet coding.

Thanks for all of your help.

Okay, I have solved that problem, but now I have another. I started inserting my rank image into the title bar with standard HTML image coding. I want to include text with that, but I do not have enough characters to do so. Any suggestions on what I could do? I have very little HTML coding experience.

Okay, thank-you, there was no need for the giant quote box though. Standard procedure?

It's a reminder, so yes it is standard procedure. Each member will receive the same message when they need reminding of the rules, so please don't take anything personally. Smile

This message does not require a reply. You have yet to change the title of your topic to something related to your problem. Thanks.

A limit is usually a limit, if you have too much text on the ranks, try shortening it or something.

I need the rank image above the text. The only way to do that is to have the image in the text box, not the rank image box. But after I link the image, I have used up all the characters.

What I need it to have the image before the text, and have it all centered. I do not know how to use code and was wondering if that is the only way, somebody could do it for me?

I don't think there's a code for it.
You could make a separate profile field for the text, and make the rank image only, but it would be a pain to manually edit people's profiles.

Ooh. Sorry, I kept misunderstanding you.
There have been threads about that before, let me find a link for you.

Wait, do you want the entire avatar section moved, or just the rank.
Can you post a screenshot of what you mean?

I'm no pro at it either xD
http://help.forumotion.com/t105873-need-help-making-posters-profile-on-left-side-of-page-than-right?highlight=Left
Here's a thread about re-ranging the profile, idk if that's what you want to do.
There also might be a guide here:
http://help.forumotion.com/f32-tips-tricks

Also, about the left side ranks, I know that there's a code or something for it, but I don't know it at the moment.
Something along the likes of <left> image here </left>
But I'm sure that's not it. I'm confusing it with BBcode
