Newsletter sent by
Last month the newsletter that went out to members showed up as being from "Board Name X." It appears that my current newsletter will be sent from my username. It's coming from Forumotion's e-mail address once again, but I want the "From" column on the recipients' e-mail to again be the board, not me. Where can I change what "From" name shows up when a member receives a newsletter? I don't think I've changed any settings that would affect this, but perhaps I have. Thank you!

When you write the newsletter, you should see this -

Re: Newsletter sent by
That gives me the option to select an e-mail address only, and that has been "board@forumotion.com" both times. I'm concerned about the name that is associated with the e-mail, not the e-mail address. I'd like it to me listed as my board's name once again, not as my personal username.
Last time it was: "BOARDNAME" (board@forumotion.com)
This time it is: "MYUSERNAME" (board@forumotion.com)
When recipients open their e-mail, I want them to see that it was sent from the full group again, not from me specifically.

Please post a screenshot of the drop-down list opened?

I apologize that I can't easily get a screenshot, but the two options it gives me are "board@forumotion.com" and my personal e-mail address ("me@my-email.com"). Both times I've selected the former.

Re: Newsletter sent by
Exactly that is the only two options I have on my forum. Are you saying no matter which one you choose, the email shows as coming from your email address?

No, it's coming from board@forumotion.com as requested. My concern is only the *name* associated with the e-mail address that one sees in listed their inbox before clicking on the message. My first newsletter was listed as coming from "BOARDNAME" and this time it's being sent from "MYUSERNAME." I want it to be from from BOARDNAME again. I don't know why the "From" is different this time given that I'm using the generic e-mail address once again.

Oh now I understand. On members' e-mail pages, it says your username on the From column.

Re: Newsletter sent by
Yes, thanks, and I'd like it to be from the BOARDNAME instead. It was from the board name last time without my having to specify it. I don't think I've made any changes that would have affected this in the meantime? Is there anything I can do to specify that the newsletter be from the board and not from me personally? Topic reply and PM notifications and such are still from the board name, so I don't know why the newsletter would suddenly be different; an e-mail to members appearing to be from a single user's name (albeit the founder's username) is definitely not what I want.
