Voting Reputation Fix

I changed the plus symbol from + to my own image. Nice. but i want to take out the - I dont want it there at all...any way possible? Also Id like to make it turn gray once they click it instead of showing a bar. also if possible a pop up or something that says. "Thanks for Voting"

Yeah Im not going to switch to phpbb3 sorry. Im still learning everything lol. And dont want to lose all my work. any other suggestions?

Well not really because I never heard of anything that will work with phpbb2. It seems all the scripts are for other versions other than bb2.

Actually, I'm sorry I can't help you. I think you will find in your pursuit of this that you will not be able to do it with bb2.

do what? Ive changed the image. It works. I just need to rid of the minus one thats all. and maybe an auto redirct after tumbs up. I dont need the gray thumb. Dont mean to offend you. Just im out of the loop with coding for 8 years and started up again, and ive been working with this phpbb2 for 3 months now and its simple for me to know exactly where to go...say if i switch to phpbb3 i would lose some of the codes ive added already correct? and wouldnt i have to restart everything ive done?

You're problem is think, is that there are no scripts for bb2. You next question might be why not? Its because it seems most people that write the scripts don't like to work with phpbb2 so therefore they don't write scripts for it.

i gotcha. I found the area where the {U_VOTE_MINUS} and if i delete it and the bar section it says the tags were not closed or never opened?? Also could i ask you, since you seem like you are smart. How do I remove the space between each post, or minimize it to be smaller? It seems to be a table though im sure what to delete/change. if you go to my site you can see what i mean...

First of all, I think it will be better if you changed verssions since most of us use 3 instead of 2, that way, you'll get more help.
