profile thingies

how do you give only one person a profile thing w/o any other people having it?

As far as I know, I don't think this can be done as you can only give fields through profile fields on the admin panel which is given to all, you can however set to who can modify that profile field.

Is it possible to create a profile thing w/o a name?

Okay....

I think, if this member is talking about badges and all, you can set it to who it shows up for in the ACP profiles. You can choose all, moderators, or administrators I think.

Even if you do this, I don't believe it automatically gives the profile field to the member. In order to make it show up for that specific member, you go to their ACP profile and (This is what I do) add a period next to the profile field to make it show up.

Let me know if this is confusing, I tried to explain it as well as I could.

May used coding. I know you can add Icons next to usernames, and put pictures in posts and signatures etc. Thats how I do badges on my forum.

ok so you know how every member starts out with a green warning bar, right? that profile object is a images list? right? so i would like to know how to make it so that profile object has no name at all. I tried doing the & nbsp; (no space) code, there was no name, but there was still the ":" (or colon) in the name space. How do you take out the colon?

Make sure the Display Type is "Icon" only.
