Page timeout problem

We are having a frequent problem with time outs and being able to access our board.
We are getting the following message
Request Timeout

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

I have searched all over and am unable to locate anything on this. Please help.

I have no problem accessing your board.

Does it happens at a precise moment of the day ? If yes, tell us at what time (and precise the timezone) it happens.

All I know is that at 2:00 a.m. GMT+2 (soon GMT+1), it's the time when the daily backups are saved for all boards, to ensure that a restoration can be done when a big problem occurs. These daily backups may cause some disturbances on the servers when they are done.

There is no specific time or day that that it happens. But my mods and members have both asked me about it and last night abour 8 cst it was happening repeatedly. It started happening about a month ago or so. Thank you for your assistance though.

I seem to have this problem quite frequently but have never really paid much attention to the time when it happens. During the week, I access the above mentioned board anywhere from 4:00 pm CST to 1:00 am CST. It did happen approx. 7:30 pm CST tonight several times and right when I was trying to preview a post. I tried again about 15 min. later and was able to make my post without the Request Timeout message.
