Solved Nickname problem

Post by Jégtermelő48 March 31st 2013, 4:06 pm

Hey, Happy Easter!
I have a little nickname problem.

I got a message from a member
who got to be a moderator today and he said he coulnd't register with
his first name (roli00000000) , he didn't get the email from the forum
so he registered a roli000000000 account and he told the problem to me. I
said I'll edit his name to 8 0s from the 9 0s, but I can't. Then, when I
searched his name with 8 0s, it wasn't an account with 8 0s, just with 9
0s so I don't know why I can't edit his name?

It could be I complicated the problem but I couldn't explain that easier.

Please help!

He wants 8 0s, but I can't edit his name, that's the problem.

Did you change it in the administration panel?

Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Users > Search Users
Press the username you want to change which will load the profile. Then change the username and press the save button

I did what you wrote but the bubble or what said this is an existing nickname.
(This username is already taken.)
But it isn't any roli00000000 so I don't know what is bad...?

Oh, I found the name... so he didn't activate his first nickname... he said he did it but I didn't know how can I get the list of the not activated users. Thanks so much, problem solved Smile
