Domain Name Problem

I purchased an external domain and created a CNAME record to point at my forum address. I don't know why but my domain doesn't want to connect. I go into my forummotion panel and try change it here but here's what I get. Yes I followed that tutorial, still not working.

Error

The supplied domain name is not well configured
Your CNAME must redirect to : modern-gaming.0wn0.com
