forumotion does not allow you any access over .htaccess or .httpdconf or any other system file besides from what you can find in forumotion's Admin Panel, sorry.
By default, pages like /post, /privmsg and /profile are already URL rewritten, their original file name would be /post.php, /privmsg.php and /profile.php (or .asp for all, but that'd be funny since you need a Windows environment for it).
