Legend & header errors

Hi guys,
I am facing 2 problems regarding my site:

1.  The image which I want to use in my header just messes up my site's theme.The header area is very less than the image size.So I want to know how to increase the header area ??

Ok,Thanks for replying.I have edited the legend.Anyways actually the legend has written Forum is locked which is cut by the legend box.
