In progress Litigation handling

A Admin dude is mishandling his forum a lot with outings, stalking, showing enemies photos without permission, IP-numbers and have only one member who made one post, so he got some Litigations.
I got one also from them, explained and it got dismissed, so I know how it works from both sides.

But what if he doesnt open them, it will be decided anyway after X numbert of days?

The founder of the forum will not see the litigation report, but just a message on the homepage of the administration panel. If the founder does not see the message or fixes the violations, the forum will still be banned by Onlineguardian.

Are you sure that you are referring to a litigation report or an abuse report?

I believe that means the report was successful received by the litigation team.

Generally the litigation team will do one of a few things.

  • Issue the forum a timed warning to remove content and if the admin comply's then the forum is safe. If not then the forum is shutdown
  • Pass on the report made to the administrator so he can see why a report was issued then it's up to him if he wants to make changes
  • Close the forum down if the breech to the TOS is large

It's not done really like a court, the litigation team can do multiple things but only if it violates the TOS.
