In progress Domain names question.... Pls help

Post by Xflint December 2nd 2013, 11:28 pm

I really wanted to buy a domain names via formuotion but it says it is taken. And I visit that domain names it redirects to godaddy.

My question is would it be possible to for forumotion Admin/moderators to use my credits to pay for that domain name and manage it for me.

I really would not appreaciate it if my domain name is on another external server or what ever...

Thanks

If the domain is expired through Go-Daddy then that means that it was bought through Go-Daddy and not Forumotion. Forumotion cannot take control of any domains that were not bought through them. So, you can try and buy that domain but a different extension (.com, .org, .net, ect). But Forumotion cannot take control of a domain that was not purchased through them.

Hope this helps!

There is a process that domain names go through before they become available again.  Give it some more time to become available.  Try to get the domain name you want everyday.  A domain name is available to even one who can get it first.

Hello,

If your domain name is not avalaible that means someone else own it.
You should try an other domain name.
Forumotion is working with Godaddy for commercial reasons. But, for you there is no change.
