Change existing forum from punbb to phpbb3?

I've searched on these forums and can't find the info I need.

Is it possible to change my existing punbb forum to phpbb3 or change it from phpbb3 to punbb or phpbb2? Any help would be appreciated.

Administration Panel > Display > Skins > Choose a theme > Version

Then select the version you want and save.



Please note your current theme will not fully transfer.

And also, if you change it to phpbb3 you won't have access to templates and everything you changed both in templates and in css will be deleted!

Template modifications are preserved from what I've tested. Only personalized stylesheets will be deleted and applied with the default style.

The best way to change forum version is to go to www.hitskins,com and install the theme of the forum version you want.
