Adding Members to Groups
Hi again all,
I need assistance with the group section of the admin panel. I used to remember how to do this but I have since forgotten. My forum has a few different categories that only certain group members have access to. Currently, I am the only one that can add members to a certain group but I was hoping that I could allow another member or two to add members to specific groups without giving them full admin rights. Is this a possibility?
Essentially... in case I am offline, I would like to allow two other trusted friends of mine to have the ability to add members to specific groups without giving them full admin access.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Adding Members to Groups
If you mean other administrators, then they will have to add them in the administration panel.
If you mean group moderator, then you can only have one.

Re: Adding Members to Groups
I assume it is the group moderator. There can only be one? The group moderator can add other members to the specified group - aside from an admin of course?

Re: Adding Members to Groups
Correct. You can only have one group moderator. If the group is open, members can subscribe to the group, and the group moderator can accept or deny the member on the group's page.

Re: Adding Members to Groups
Ah, I thought there was another way to have multiple group moderators without giving them administrative rights. Oh well! Thanks for the support.

Re: Adding Members to Groups
You are not giving group moderators access to the administration panel.
