According to his reports, the redirects stopped for most of yesterday, but restarted last night. He said this is the new redirect URL: http://s3.amazonaws.com/dm.leadgen/page/blank.html

When users access the following forum http://hooptowngtaforums.forumotion.com/ via the Mobile Version.
There is an inappropriate Ad at the top of the forum.
The ad is: Need A Sugar Mommy
The link of the ad is: mymobilecrush.com/adt/mobuscauk

Can you please remove this ad from appearing on the forum http://hooptowngtaforums.forumotion.com/ while using the Mobile version.

Hi,

Still having this problem. From this thread.

Site: redstorm.forumotion.co.uk

My phone will not show most of the urls of the redirection links-only of the final address (Bongacams.com, gettinglaidtoday.com, spaces.slimsports.com/mobiledirect, redirects.ero-advertisiing.com...) and it has also started downloads. if it's vital I can ask other people to get copies of the exact addresses.

This is not good - People with adblock don't get it, and I can't see how it can come from anywhere other than the banner adverts.  Judging by the content of some of the adverts,  I would not be surprised.

Would it be possible to temporarily remove adverts from the site to see if the problem is resolved? I would be interested in paying to remove adverts, but not if these redirect continue.

Cheers

Felix

It occurs occasionally, on random pages for users of mobile devices on the classic site. The frequency varies - a while back it would happen every one in 10 page loads, and one person complained about it happening almost every time on his tablet.

I will get people to report in more detail occurrences-though most have just worked around it with adblock or using computers rather than mobiles.

In progress Mobile users getting redirected to "dating"-apps (in Google PlayStore) and also porn sites

Post by ptdstryr on January 27th 2015, 4:45 pm

Technical Details

Forum version : PunBB
Position : Administrator
Concerned browser(s) : Google Chrome, Other
Who the problem concerns : A few members
When the problem appeared : approximately 1-2 weeks ago
Forum link : http://ptdstryr.coolbb.net/
Ads link:
http://freshrock.ru/zero.html?offer=575058&sub_id=55-410-14223873404593632

Description of problem

As the title says. Happened to myself and also to other members. But only via mobile (android phone; google chrome). I open the forum (have it on quicklink), it opens, and maybe a second later, the Google Playstore opens and I am redirected directly to some kind of Dating app (The "LOVOZO - Find sexy people in your area" kind of). Happened a few times in the last 2 weeks or so, other users told me they are getting redirected to porn sites when they open a random thread (for example).

Hello. I haven't had any experience with this myself, but I received a report from one of my members today:
moddyboy wrote:This is really getting annoying. I go on this site with my ipad all the time, and have recently kept getting my app store force open to apps I don't want.
I've had this problem with other sites and did some searching on the web. Apparently some companies  putting scripts into their ads that force open the store to their app. Can you please tell whoever owns forumotion that some of the ads are doing this?
Forum: vgunetwork.forumotion.com
I'm not sure I even have a "mobile" version
I've given you all the info that I have.
Can you please let me know what to tell the member who reported this?
Thank you in advance

Edit:
moddyboy wrote:it happend again as i was reading your reply. I look at what the ad was at the time. It was an ad for panda pop which is the exact app it show when the store was opened. Here a pic
I hope this helps

Hello dear

Thanks for reporting this problem. Actually, we absolutly need to know if the ad appears while the user uses the mobile or classic version. Indeed, the ads provider is not the same depending on the version. So, if we don't have the version, it is very hard to block the tracker Sad

Thanks for your help :rose:

Forum: avatarseaofblue.com

Myself and other members are redirected when visiting the forum on a mobile device using classic view. I have tried using Googe Chrome and Safari and it happens on both. From what Ive experianced and what others have said its always to the Apple store and it happens over and over.

The following pops up right before Im redirected in the address bar...

cpadna1.com

Then

ad-x.co.uk

then sends me to the apple store for Panda Pop.

It will also show

cpadna1.com

Then

control.kochava.com

then sends me to the apple store to download Game of War - Fire Age
