Thread Deletion

Hi guys,

I'm admin on my forum and several years ago I deleted many threads without having known about that backup function back then. I was just wondering if the servers of Forummotion itself, like YouTube, keeps backups of all forums and if it was possible to get these threads back? Thanks so much!

You should see the back/restore section.  All available dates are listed.

That's the thing, it happened before any of those dates. That's why I'm wondering if forummotion backs everything up?

Those dates you see in the list are done by Forumotion.  They are the back ups.

so if i do the restoration i lose the new threads?

Hello Momocchi,

As @SLGray told you you can only recover the data from the dates available in your founder tools. Therefore if you do a posts and users backup from last week you will lost the new threads, your forum will appear exactly as it was last week. If you are looking for for something that happened several years ago there's no need to look for a backup there's none, I think for now we can go back only to 1 year ago but that's it.
