Mobile version: polls & pagination

Bringing this up again because the last request got "garbaged" without a solution.

On the new mobile version, pagination has options for PREV, NEXT, FIRST and LAST.

However, when a poll is added, the option to jump to the LAST page is gone. I've attached 2 screenshots below so you can see the difference.

Why?

From what I can tell, The FIRST/LAST divs are not included in the template at all so I would imagine that the PHP base template that renders the form at the top has a slightly different block for the mobile_title div. Are they 2 different templates for pages and pages with polls?

This can be duplicated on all mobile devices and on the developer tools.

If a topic is not active (posting), it is automatically sent (prune) to the garbage after a being inactive for awhile. You should have sent a PM to a staff member to ask for the topic to be removed from the garbage.

Bump!

Can anyone at least let me know if they can skip to the last page on the mobile version when a poll is in use? Because I can't!

Hello @Troyeccles,

What is your forum's URL and do you have a topic with a poll and I will check later when I am on mobile.

Thanks,

Hi Chanel.

Thanks for your response. Try this one:

http://bellsareringing.forumotion.com/t1938-aston-villa-v-wolverhampton-wanderers-saturday-15th-october-2016-5-30pm-ko-build-up-and-match-thread

You'll see it's only possible to skip to the NEXT page. There's no LAST option so we're streaming away from polls. A shame.

I'm no coding expert but I can't actually see a div for the FIRST LAST blocks that are evident on non-poll threads which is why I've not managed to find a solution.

Hello,

Yes you are totally correct! Well done for spotting this, it's actually quite a major issue and I am sure the staff will look at this an investigate. As I am using a friends device at the moment could you please download an app named: Puffin Web Browser and perform the same test a we did ad see if the feature is there Smile

Thanks,
ChanelW

Hello,

Puffin Web Browser is a mobile app with Adobe Flash Player. What you are looking for if there is the feature to go to the last page. As it may require FlashPlayer to perform this , however, regular mobile browsers do not.

What browser are you using on your device?

Thanks,
ChanelW
