How do I edit the TOS page? It says French laws I'm in the US
When a member registers, they'll see the Forum Terms of service. This comes with the free forum has a section.
In the TOS, one part says, "- Aggressive or slanderous messages, as well as personal insults and critics, the coarseness and vulgarities, and more generally any message contravening the French laws are prohibited."
How or where to I edit out the word French?

Hello,
You shoudn't even try to change that french word.
Maybe you're living in the U.S.A. ?
Maybe you're usonian ?
But the hoster (Forumotion) is french and all forums must apply french and/or european community's laws.
Just be glad TOS doesn't smell cheese

Yes, I'm in the USA, and have nothing against France. However, I was hoping that by removing the word French, the laws would appear to cover all countries, not just France. Thus the TOS would apply to members from anywhere and they would understand this - if they bothered to read it!

Of course you have nothing against France or french but a product will always depends on its native country's laws except then it's not compatible with local laws (or when local laws are stronger than the original ones). What should be very rare since France and European Community has some of the best (strongest) laws to protect users.
For example, in France if someone asks for his account's deletion, we cannot refuse (except if there is a complaint against that user)
Account Deletion: Administrators Obligations
French 1978 law which is now the basics about private data and i think it has been taken as an example for 27 other countries of E.C.
If there is nothing in U.S. laws to protect users, or things smaller than ours, french law applies since your site is hosted on a french service.
