Different theme messed up

Okay so I wanted to give the user to choose between multiple themes so I used this -

But, the new theme I've added is messed up and all over the place, I'm not sure why. I'm making sure to use the theme supported for my forum version (ModernBB). I'm not sure what am I doing wrong.

Also, is it possible that I can use my default theme, and just make it darker by changing the background colors etc.

What is the theme you are trying to use ?
Please post the link here so we can take a look to see if any thing is missing or if you need more then just the skin.... Some times some themes / skin's need templates to make it look better But the templates are not installed on hitskin.

Try using different themes to see if bug is in theme or something on your forum.

Also it is possible to change background colors simply by going to your ACP -> Display (tab) -> Pictures & colors -> Colors
