Charging for my Domain name now as well?

I've been running a forum on here for the past 10 years and after always spending credits on ad blocking and suchlike, last year's price hikes came as an unwelcome surprise.

However, one thing I had been able to rely on was that the forum kept its domain name year after year and was not charged for it.

However, now it appears yet another door has been closed.



Is this for real? What next?

Well the free domain was always a courtesy thing, which they still do, but its based on activity. It has always been that way even in the old system, you can get a free domain one year, and not another. Unfortunatelly it looks like your forum didnt the criteria this year, sorry.

I have just looked at your forum activity points and it is really low Total = 379 point's you had at least 500 last year and you need to keep this up or the Free address would not be to offer like last year.

Sadly our Free address is not something we offer every year as some forums have more point's you was just lucky you was picked for that time.

It is down to you to keep your forum busy and members posting on a day to day basis.

Sadly we can not offer you this Free address this year.
