Resetting the Points System

Description of problem

Hello,

During my forum renovation I've occured a problem with the Points system which is necessary for our "comeback". In the past we had different topics on forum, but they were all moved to a new created category called Archives since they won't be used anymore. I've set the Points value to 0, since I don't want the forum to count the Points from the old topics - only the new ones.

The problem is, it does count the posts anyway and gives the points for topics with value (both for posts and topics) marked as 0. Is there any possibility of resetting the points value and getting the countdown from the beginning? We would really like to avoid creating dozen of old accounts copies just to get the Points system straight...

Let me just add - we don't want to delete the old posts, just delete the Points that shouldn't be given for writing them.

Hello

You can manually set the points to zero for each member by picking his/ her username from the point donation tab in the admin panel ( modules - points donation )

Also you can set how many points members can gain from each category Per message and Per subject from the point management tab ( modules - points system - point management).. so put your old threads in a category and set it to zero points
