url length

I’m thinking of linking a forumotion forum to my website, but my url is 22 characters before .com
When I try to enter it on the forumotion register page the character limit appears to be 20.
Is there any way around this? A way of increasing the url character length by two?

yes the limit is ..Characters in Forum address: 20 characters

i do not think that we can do anything but lets wait for an admin to answer

Hello sorry you are facing this problem but sadly the limit is 20 and there is no plan to change this.

My advice is maybe change the URL to something smaller so it will fit

OK, thanks. An idea I have is that I change the url to a smaller size and then once it’s up I’ll try changing the url to my ideal size in the html page and see if that works.
