How do I edit it so that whenever i go to my forum link, the portal shows up. not the forum..?

it should change it automatically when you actiavte the portal

kylesmummy06 is right, once activated the portal becomes your default homepage. If however, you've already bookmarked your forum into a favourites list, or have the address as a link elsewhere, just change the end of the link from (for example)forumaddress.com/index.htm to forumaddress.com/portal.htm

Likewise, if any members prefer to go straight to the forum, they should bookmark with the /index.htm ending to the address
