Mods Not Showing Up

Yesterday, I added Mods. My friend said it would take a couple of hours to activate.Today, my friend that I added as a mod still hasn't shown up. Every time she logs on, she is a Registered user. Is there something I need to do or do I need to give it more time?

Is she not able to moderate? Does she not have a special username color?

She isn't able to moderate and her name isn't in the color of the mods..

Did you check your permissions for moderator's

I dunno, does the mod group have to be a open group?

Erm.. that doesn't really make sense but I have 4 other mods and they are all in the Moderators group..

No... go to the mod permission and check the permissions, or make a test account, add it to the moderator group with your admin account and log in with the test account and see what the problem is, if you checked your permissions for moderators and it still does not work, this topic might have to be moved to the technicians catagory

Sorry my mistake i meant to put here rank as Mod

and also, she isn't on right now so..

to check the moderator's permissions, go to admin panel, users and groups, group administration, then go to the moderator and you should see an icon like this: Click it, then you should see what places a moderator can moderate
