Modifying Group Permissions Empty Modifying Group Permissions

Post by Dragonman.EXE September 27th 2008, 3:21 am

I want to make a user group to ban users from certain topics as punishment. Well, I go to edit the permissions and I have to remove permissions from EVERYONE just to remove the permissions for this one group. How can I make it let me remove permissions for just ONE group rather than everyone?

I have this exact same problem and I'd appreciate it if someone could provide a reply to explain why I am unable to uncheck the boxes that allow a specific group to view or reply to specific forums. It seems completely unecessary.

Thank you.

Once you have made your user group under Group Administration

You will see the Group Admin panel at the right hand side of the group you have made, an actions section ,click over the red cross/green tick this is your permissions for this group and go from there...

Hope this helps

I'd like to say that works, but it doesn't.

There is no option in that screen to forbid the members of a group from accessing one of my forums. I've taken a screengrab for clarities sake...
Modifying Group Permissions Dfgt10
There is nothing I can see that allows a group access to certain forums but not others.

I Dont suggest anything, but, the stuff you want is the stuff you get,
the option you want, is not available.
If you want this Stuff to be a Option on your forums, i suggest you post the topic Here.
