What will be our next update ?

Can you guess what will be news update for our forum, as you know Typlo already tell us but he didn mention what will be.

For me i think mayb about direct upload file to forum !

if that is so, it would be great

sound like they're going to start small and work their way up from there.

i want the disable post count feature and ability to adjust maximum post characters

missing phpbb3 features (or mods)...that's what i hope for...

hope this list includes attach option, custom bbcode, cashmod, personal blogs in profil, etc...

Me i want serveimg to be photobucket.

yeah i also expect them to have a personnel page like a social profile!
some forums have that thing like franky-house.com,
Also i think there be ability to organise the page from scratch that is permanently turning off the basic template and using custom made template
and reorganised widgets and sorts!

but i fear my hopes will be thrashed we will see

i'm not getting my hopes up for anything i want because if you do you will only be let down.

The ability to add mods will be the best of the best of the bestest suggestion ever!

I want to be able to add MYBB to my forum... Also a skin changer, custom BBCode, disable post count for a certain area and the User controlled time out I suggested...

Thats pretty much my whole "wish list", now what do I think will be in the updates from what I want, a skin changer since it has over 300 yes votes adding all the polls made for it, custom BBCode since it has over 100 and possibly the post count disabler, I have to find the poll on that.

I'd like to help you guys on this matter ...but the staff hasn't been told yet whats going on.

We know of one large project, but it seems the techies has postponed work to provide somethign smaller in the days comming....

stay tuned, the techies promised to add a few suggestions instead of maintaining the service

please tell them we dont want invision or whatever its called the new version they r doing its pointless

I doubt Jalokim has any power or authority over what to tell the techs, neither do the mods or Caihlem.

For keeping track of collectables.

So the update is going to be a bunch of our suggestions that should be done regardless-us not having to wait for an update?

Things like the following should be done without the need for an update:

Chatbox fix: one that keeps you logged in until YOU log out. One that fits into the widgets properly.

Connection timeout.


Those should just be done.


The following are things that should be considered a update:

Template eding for version 3 and that other one.
Cash mod
Thank you button
Collection tracker
abilty to add mods on our own

If the tech put those 5 things in one update the users here will be happy for a bit.

If all those were put in place I'd be happy with it for at least a year.

My list:

-Add a template, so that when users login, they will be redirected to a page saying 'Thank you for logging in. Click here if your page dont automatically redirect you'.
-Fix chatbox errors (as Kilsek stated).
-Allow more characters in your sigs.
-Make the calendar more easy to use.
-Create a thing that allows users to invite members to join the forum.

My list will be updated regularly.

I believe that some where there is a post where either typlo or Caihlem said they were making a new chat since the one we have now is filled with fail. Of coarse thats not their exact words but basicly thats what was said.

acually I would be happy with any update, as long as it doesnt come with and BUGS!!!!

Kilsek not all members would be happy i wouldn't use any of those lol

I think it would be useful to have more limitations for the users.

i.e. the amount of posts/threads a user can post in a specified amount of time

If the new updates doesn't include either Cash Mod, Custom Title, or Custom BB code, I'm gonna cry

If I remember right I think Typlo said they were going to announce it 2 days before its launch and that it would be out within a week. That makes me think that they are releasing it on monday and announcing it tomorrow (friday) giving us the weekend to look it over but thats just my theory

looks like they added an update for daylight savings. i don't believe that was there before

seem that updates so long to release, im dying waitin here

i wouldn't think about the update because if it's something you dont want you will only feel let down, i been using forumotion for nearly 2 years now and i have only got 2 update that i like.
