Re: Ads. on forum
Hello Rammstein,
This normally occurs on certain forums. To remove this advertisement, you need to buy something called "credits". They then can be used to remove those advertisements. Credits can be obtained by being purchase using PayPal or Allopass.
To buy them, follow these steps:
1. Administration Panel
2. Misc Tab
3. Buy credits (on the left)
Regards,
Base

Re: Ads. on forum
Yeah although I have been administering our new forum since last sept., I never seen one ad on it, and now they have appeared out of now-where. Is there a reason as to why they weren't there before, and now suddenly stick their ugly head in?
I don't like them there, it makes a perfectly good forum look like a second graded one. One of the main reasons I chose for forumotion was the fact that it was add-free. Now I need to spend my own money to keep it free of this garbage. No offense.

Re: Ads. on forum
I agree with FireFly because we have to pay just to get rid of garbage, but I will also have to agree with Mr.Mario because that garbage is keeping our forums up with new updates.
I just hope this will be over soon :|.

Re: Ads. on forum
Does that mean that disabling the adds (like I just did) also means disabling updates? xD
No offense admins, but I am not that happy about this.

Re: Ads. on forum
You can check the costs of different services in your admin panel by going to Misc, and click on 'spend credits' in the top left window called 'Credits management'. Most services will cost you around 100-200 credits at least.
Hope it helps, good luck.

If you disable the ads, your forum will still be updates.
How cost this ?
How Much cost for rat this ads ?
You don't get money from the ads, ForuMotion does. They use the money from the ads to purchase updates for our forum.
No one knows how much they get from these ads, but Oh Well. We are benefiting anyway..
