Category/Forum Descriptions

I would like my category descriptions to show up under the title of the category. However, I cannot see them and the only time they appear is when I rollover the title. How do I fix this?

Also, is there a way to add similar descriptions to forums, as well?

Take note that category descriptions will not appear for a normal category, but will appear on a Category attached to another.

And, forum descriptions will appear underneath the forum name.

What do you mean that the descriptions will show up after a category is attached to a parent category? I have such a hierarchy but the category description still won't show up.

My category won't even show up without a child forum in it.

For categories to show up they must contain a forum. What setting have you got in hierarchy ?
