Category descriptions do not appear.

I enter the category descriptions in the admin panel, but they don't show up on the forum. How can I make them visible?

You need to add a sub-forum to the category in order to make it appear

There are several forums attached to that category. I want the description of the category to show up. The category itself does appear.
I have just noticed that the category description appears when I hover my mouse over the category title. Is that as far as it goes?
