[ONLY TOPIC] Issues with the new update [Please read first post]

Hi all,

Please post here all the issues and bugs you may have noticed with the update!
Please also post your forum URL so that we can help you fastly, and if possible screenshot(s) of the issue(s).

Instead it should either

a. Automatically take the user back to the post which just earned a reputation point instead of showing the "your vote has been counted" screen

OR

b. Offer to to take the user back to the post that they just gave a reputation point to.

agree 100%. no need to be taken to a loading screen and then you can't even get back to where you were in the first place. people won't want to use the rep. system after long because of this.

this update is failing badly. too many flaws and overlooked things

I activated the Points system and Reputation but it isn't showing up! I even activated "advanced profile" and it STILL won't work. What's going on? Is the update still being tweaked?

There seems to be a lot of members shooting this rep thing in the foot. I think this is a great feature for our sites my members love it, lets get behind forumotion and thank them for this great free site.

Agreed - I am very happy with the updates! All we need a re a few tweaks and all will be perfect.

I may be stupid but, now is this feature used and where can I find it?

yeah i have been doing that but if you look in there profiles again your see that ht e greenbar is there and none of the other ones so you have to do all the settings in the admin page but still its there if you want to readd it again

Click the multi quote button on every post you want to quote, then hit the post a reply button. All those posts that you have 'multi quoted' will appear in your reply box

Birthdays in user profiles show dates one day early.

Both Zodiacs don't appear in post profile.

That member list used to go to the forum index
but after a while it was just fixed! I don't know what
the problem was...

I press the + button, but the persons reputation DECREASES.

On these forums I can see a colour bar but no + / - ...weird.

Some of my members and I have actually encountered a problem this morning with the friend option (foe and friends): no matter how many times a member accepted my friend request, he wasn't added to my list, and a few of the member in my friend list who was in my list earlier today, disappeared too now ^^;;
And the +- rep thing vanished too.

Everyones site seems to have this log in pop up. but i still dont have it. I know its a minor thing but if its on the list ill take it lol.

The date formats are OK now but the birthdates are wrong still just so you know.

Problem with profiles both in advanced or normal it sems now that even if you put in your birthdate correctly i.e 9 march 1963 it will display it as the 1963 march 08 its a day out and its not a typo its happening to all members. so all members seem a day younger than actually are.

we have also noticed the problem with memberslist but that seems ok now but we still have the proile meber age problem.

The only problem with the memberlist now is that it does not display the members' locations like it used to. The jobs/hobbies bit should be replaced with that. Same with the Today's Top 20 Posters and Overall Top 20 posters.

My points aren't showing anywhere.

Sure it's great but it needs improved.

1) There should be no loading screen after you rep/neg people. Then after the loading, it doesn't even take you back to the page/post you were reading

2) You can't change the buttons ( +/- ) for the rep/neg. Why? All other buttons can be customized except this

3) There's no limit to repping/negging. They have the limit set as a time variable. It should be on a per post variable. I.e. you can just keep repping/negging the same person over and over and over. You should have to rep at least 5 different people before you rep/neg a person twice (like every other rep/neg feature on every forum). Setting the limit with a time is just stupid.

Hmm all i see is the green one on my profiles and the mods can not see tham at all

On someone's profile it says in their stats that they've got 3 friends when in fact they've only got two friends.

NEW PROBLEM!

Everyone's birthday is a day off in their profiles and in the forums. But when they go into their profiles to edit, the date is correct.

I have read the point system thread, but I still can't make the POINTS, REPUTATION, and JOINED DATE appear in the post or in the profile.

Still don't know why the color of my members names have changed when I have colored names disabled...

Memberlist is working, however guests can click on member names and view the members' profile information and should not be able to do that.

Birthdays are still one day off.
Board still states that there is one additional member.

Same here. The friends and foe thingy is not working for me anymore. I have at least 20 friends in my stat list and now it says I have 2 friends on my stat O___o.

And also, I just noticed an error. I can't accept my friends request. I mean, when I have already someone in my list, I can't accept the request from the same people I already have.

example: I added one friend and I was accepted, then that person added me (since only he was in my friend list and I wasn't at his) then it just doesn't accept his when I click in +. I guess it's a bug since he already is on my list yet O__O
