background doesnt shows

i cant make the background to appear........
i tried with this post

but didnt worked

Body line background color is at # only
as background, i use the fireball background posted in gallery

even when i had no pictures, and there was a color, it didnt shown up

k, i done what i wanted
here is how i done

in css modification, at all places they were asking for url for background, i putted the link of the background

the part around the forum use the background, but the middle still use a white background
the backgroun is alos used where the name of the forum's categories are
