My photo.

Is being used by a poster on a Forumotion forum called 'The Snug' link provided.

The avatar being used by a poster called Jobless Oddball is a photo of me, and despite repeated requests the owner of this forum, a man by the name of Jack still refuses to remove my image, and at one point on his forum has even told me to 'piss off' apologies for the language.
As displaying my photo without my persmission is a violation of copyright and a breach of the data protection act i believe i would be well within my rights to start legal proceedings, but i dont wish to go down this road yet, i would however like to to get my photo removed from this Forumotion forum.

I cant do a screenshot so the complaint wont send David, so what else can i do.

Since Typlo is part of the litigation department, you could PM him. Make sure you provide proof and a few nice gestures.

With respect i pmd a mod on here once before about something else and never got an answer, and to sigs question i put my photo on the net via a friend ages ago cos ppl wanted to see what i looked like, but my photo is now being used without my persmission, and whilst i know some ppl might say its my own fault thats not the point id say.

PM Typlo. He is an administrator and a ForuMotion Official. Try this and make sure you use an appropriate title.

Hello,

Any complaints against any ForuMotion forum must be backed up with at least 1 screenshot.

If you are unable to obtain it via viewing as a guest, you may have to register onto the forum and take screenshots from there.
If u need a tutorial on taking screenshots

i no longer see the avatar in question up. so i guess they removed it.
in the future if you have personal picture of your self that you dont want shared then dont post them on the Internet.

to me this whole situation seems silly.. but i have no idea what the pic is and if it's you and you dont want it out there then thats your right.. but i mean if it's out there. whats to say it's not out there being shared/displayed/used by a zillion other people and or places.

there's not much you can do once something is placed on the web. it's out there forever.

Micky is the butt of jokes across forumland cos of the dumb things he is constantly doing.
He's now on his third forum ...at the last count ...he got banned from the others!
He gets everyone else around him to do all the work and he takes the credit.
He hasn't any tech knowledge whatsoever.
His photo ...it's all over the internet cos he put it there ...no one knows for sure wether it even is his photo.
He's an idiot and the photo in question certainly looks like an idiot but we have no way of knowing if it is the same idiot. He's nearly fifty years old and thinks nothing of lying and nothing of abusing posters on other forums.
He needs to grow up.

Learn to do a screenshot ...my six year old grandson manages.
Any more abusing the members of my forum ...especially the disabled ones that you and your wife like picking on and there will be consequences.

Well frankly this has nothing to do with support so i can care less.
And i am not trying to be sarcastic or disrespectful. but there is no reason to discuss things like this here. we are a support forum not babysitters.If you have complaints then just go through litigation's. and if yous have to have words with each other then do it through your pm or on another forum. lets just please try to keep this for support.I dont know either of you or your forums. but you both seem as if you are mature adults so you should try to handle any differences in a mature and adult manner.
