Button - Upload image (mozilla) -SOLVED
HEllo
For 2 days now when i post reply i can't use* the upload button (image shack) when i use Mozilla (only)
*i mean i hit the button and its like a white empty box
You think that this has to do with my mozilla updates or ... something else ?
Also can i change the upload image option from image shack to servimg.com ?
Thanks

I don't think its because of the operating system. Did you try it from another computer?

Re: Button - Upload image (mozilla) -SOLVED
i find this a lil odd. if you are uploading your images to imageshack then why would you even use that option.. imageshack provides the codes for direct link, url,img tags thumbnails and html.. so i would just get the codes from there since you are uploading them from imageshack anyway.
Now forumotion built in thing to host an image uses servimg.
so i dont understand why someone would upload a image to what ever if using a off forum image host and even worry about placing it in the link box.. the image host already give you the code..
so i dont understand.. i may be getting mixed up with the whole thing.
but take this for instance.
http://img35.imageshack.us/content_round.php?page=done&l=img35/6946/triumphejpg22zas.jpg&via=mupload
why would i worry about using the link box from forumotion to add a link in there when all these codes are over there on image shack after the pic is uploaded .

ok i see what your saying now. you are saying your forum image host is imageshack.
how did you do that. forumotions image host is servimg they do not use imageshack.
So may be perhaps you changed this in the template if it's possible to change there? i do not know i never tried it.. but if you did edit the template then you can just delete the template or add the default back and it should go back to servimg the way forumotion has it set up.
but other then that there is no option to change your on board image up-loader host.. forumotion uses servimg.
what version are you using just so i can make sure there is no options in the admin panel to change host. the only option i have seen is to re size images auto for the boards and in
Admin panel>Misc>imagehost.
so not sure. i will look in the template as well to see if it's possible to change there?

I can also guarantee, its got nothing to do with windows 7. I am using the same without any issues. There is some other reason, which i feel could be the browser.

Re: Button - Upload image (mozilla) -SOLVED
ok thanks for ur info all
Since this is happening with both broswers finally i think the problem is with my security program or a plugin ..
i will look that by myself....
------
kirk i want to change to servimg , its mush easier as an image host
i really dont know why my forum plays with image shack and not with servimg
from here Admin panel>Misc>imagehost
i see servimg account ...my forum mail
and default category ...root folder
i cant see anything else that let me choose or switch to another image host
i see from display that my forum version is phpBB2
i started with this theme ..and i keep going with that

Re: Button - Upload image (mozilla) -SOLVED
Okay, it seems for some forums Imageshack is the host. Well there is not a way to change it.
I will ask Typlo to confirm.
