New post icons disappears without having read the post

Sometimes the icon "new post" disappears.
For example, I enter the forum and a "new post" icon appears. If I log out and return, then the "new post" disappears.
This doesn't happen always, but several times.

because you logged out. you have to look at the new post when you are there in the session. if you log out they are no longer considered to be new post and will not show. but any other post that were posted since you logged out will now show.

forumotion has always been like this and most other forum host as well.

when you log back into your forum and you do not see any new post icons showing up then you will have to click on these to see any post you might have missed.
