Solved Sectioning off the forum

Hi All

I need to section off my forum but for some reason its not working its just one huge list

It would seem you haven't, as yet, made any categories for your forum. Go to your Admin Panel>General>Forum>Categories & Forums>Click the +>Choose the forum you want>Click category in the little window & go from there. You will have to name your categories. Usually, this is done to suit the forums you wish to place in each category. Click Save.

After doing this go to Display>Homepage>Structure & Hierarchy>Choose the format you want for your forum. Click Save.

Thanks for your reply. If i have all the forums already setup will i have to start from scratch to get it all sectioned off?

Well if I am understanding this correct you want your Category's to be in a separate window instead of being all scrunched up together.

ACP > Display > Structure and Hierarchy > and thats how you can section off your forums just choose which ever style you are going for there

(Must be in advanced mode to complete this)

No, you don't have to redo them. Just place them into whichever category you wish in Categories & Forums. You'll work it out, easily, once you start doing it.

Split categories on Index:Medium
Save.
