I have noticed my forum, http://www.christiancreativewriters.com, runs really slow lately and the graphics are sometimes jumbled on the admin panel. A member sent me a PM complaining of the drain my forum puts on his computer:
Lora,

Not sure if you know this, but your site is a major CPU resource "hog". Had been having a lot of slowness on my fairly powerful laptop and finally tracked it down to your site, which I had been leaving open. CPU usage jumps well over 50% HIGHER as soon as I jump to your page, even before logging in.

I'm a programmer, so I don't know the resource side of things, but you might want to get that looked into. You can see in my pic where it spikes as soon as I log in. The previous spike to the left ws caused when I opened my image capturing software.

What do you mean by graphics are scrambled in the administration panel?

The letters in the tabs, and the letters in the categories down the left hand side get all scrambled and jumbled up. They bunch up one on top of another.

Do you maintain your computer or normal basis,
like ever couple months, clean everything for registry,spy-ware scans defragment etc..

It could be a number of things, i would fist try using a different browser,
Then if it's still continuing, try cleaning your registry and do a defragment.

i would suggest using free glary utilities or the free version of advanced system care, of course if you can afford the pro versions thats even better, but the free versions should do the trick to help you gain some speed back.

But once again i am not sure if thats the problem or not, however it still good to use either one of these programs just to make sure you can clean out as much stuff as possible you may have in your computer.

Other then that can you get a screen shot on how things are appearing for you, oh, be sure to try a different browser as well.

hers the links to these if yo would like them.
Glary Utilities Free version
Advanced SystemCare Free

Info added
As far as your site it seems to be fine, i am not sure about the admin panel?
It could be you may just have to refresh the page to? may be it's not loading all the way?

Oh one more thing, you may have to up your RAM, the advanced system care has a option to add more/FREE UP in it as well.

I clean out my computer on a weekly basis using defrag, disk clean up, CCleaner, and Malwarebytes. Also, I had that complaint from one of my members, who stated that he was a computer programmer, that my site is a CPU hog. So, I don't think it's my computer. I have plenty of Memory and RAM on my computer:

Here's a snap shot of the jumbled words on my admin panel. This is actually on one of its better days. It gets worse.

How long has this been happening?
You may have to go back and restore your forum to a day or two before this problem started, but if you do that you may lose some new post.

The other stuff was just a suggestion and to make sure you dont have a lot of things slowing your speed/computer down etc, but judging by the screen shot/ i dont know what to think???
And it dose this on other browser as well.

This has been happening for a couple of weeks. I'm afraid if I restore, I will lose hundreds of posts.

I downloaded your suggested programs and ran them. I haven't got the jumbled screen since, but the site is still a huge CPU drain.
