Solved Theme/Background question

Post by Horseobsser January 8th 2012, 10:25 am

Ok it took me hrs to find all these pics but I don't want the theme I picked earlier and I want to make my own but when I go to change it the preview section doesn't show me the pictures I spent hours to find...

So all I need to know is first if I go to make my own will they disappear? Second how do you make your own?

Much appreciated

Hi, if you would like to add your own background image to your theme then it's possible. However, I'm not really sure what you mean here. If you decide to make your own theme, you'll only need to edit the colour and images so if you leave the background image there it wouldn't go away.

If you choose a completely different theme from HitSkin then yes, the background will disappear. To make your own theme, you just need to play around with the colours, images and CSS. Smile

Well, you can't get rid of it just like that. If you want to change it a little bit by adding your own images then you can do that at:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Display Tab
3. Pics management - advanced mode (on the left, under Pictures and Colors)

Please don't double/triple post. Your post need to be separated by 24 hours before bumping, replying or adding more information. Please use the edit button instead.

Okay, find this in your CSS code:

Code:
body {

And replace the contents in it with this:

Code:
body {
    background-image: url("http://alove4horses.com/images/z_wp1024x768.jpg");
}
