Reversing deleted posts and threads(Soft deletion)

Is there any chance, like it's on vbulletin, to chose between deleting a post/thread permanently, or just soft deletion (no one sees it, except for admins and mods which can also chose if it's going to stay soft deleted or it'll be permanently deleted)?
I think this would be a great opportunity so neither one of the posts or threads would ever be lost.
So whenever you'll need one, you can find it. Of course, the post/thread reversing to be able only for administrators and moderators.

For now we have to disable deletion for other than administrator but we have to split a topic to get a post out it's not very convenient.

It would be good if like in invision we could fake it and when someone delete a post or a thread that goes by itself in a selected dustbin's forum.

I totally agree with this. The admin should be able to see all deleted threads from all forums, and he/she can be the only one who can delete permanently, but moderators and members itself (as long as they can delete their own post) should make only soft deletion so we can have survey on every single post/thread.

I totally agree with this suggestion! This would be a great security increasement for Forumotion.

In fact, with this option we wouldn't need to use a backup for example in case that some important topics were deleted by some reasons or whatever, so all that is good for security should be taken in count
