Having to add Confirmation Code

Sometimes i have to add an Confirmation Code when i want to save a post. Cannot find anything about this in the admin panel.



If i add this code it will post but never as sticky or announcement
As admin i should not have to confirm a post.

It reacts to words as viagra etc. If you have them in your post it possibly makes you confirm your posting through the confirmation code.

This started after i edit the original post, the editing was that i added the Google Image Search link that leads to Google search results.

Anyway can it be disabled?

I understand that this is against spamming bots but its strange that it disables you to add an Description and make a Sticky

I'm not sure but try this. Go to administration panel => general => Messages and emails => configuration => messages => Activate the WYSIWYG mode by default in the posts : No

It is on No and has nothing to do with it.

This is a security feature Forumotion added a while back. This is normal, even if you are an admin you will still get this from time to time if you post certain words.

Yes that’s what i understand and typing a confirmation code is no problem for me, still i do not understand what that has to do with adding description and making a post sticky because that is what’s not working.

It might of been flagged as spam and the system needs to check to see if you are a user or a bot.

I know that links to Google results contain spam as in some results Google showed is indeed reported as spam.

My forum is an Anti scam/spam form so it happens that i will post information about scammers and spammers.

still i don’t understand why i can post after putting the confirmation code with all that (flagged) material but just not as sticky and not with description.

What has a description that not containing any wrong words have to do with flagged material? Also what has being a sticky or announcement have to do with it?

After posting it, can you edit it to make it a sticky and add a description?

Every time i try and every time i need to add the code and i do, it saves and turned up as not sticky and no description but with all material.

It prevents you from not putting a sticky. You can't change it.

Its a shame it really is!
