I have been trying to get the main umm directories such as google and bing to register my website (forum). But I don't know how to verify ownership please help!!

Hi, I tried the Bing metatag and it didn't work, I don't understand why.
I went to where you said to go. What type is the metatag?

First go to ACP >> General Tab.


Forum promotion >> Search engines

Click
Create a "meta" tag type Select

Google First ok

"name" attribute : place this code

"content" attribute : place this code

Then Click ADD then go to google tools and click Verify

Now for Bing / Yahoo
go to ACP >> General Tab.

Forum promotion >> Search engines

Click
Create a "meta" tag type Select

"name" attribute : place this code

"content" attribute : place this code

Then Click ADD then go to Bings tools and click Verify add or what ever it is
