I need help, no new members can register?

Check if they are inactive.

Ok i am having a similar problem on my site

I have a friend who lives in another state who is trying to register, but for some reason it wont allow her to. ive checked all the other thread that have reported a similar issue, but ive already tried all of the solutions that i have already seen using the "how to unlock your forum" thread and going to inactive members. she says that when she goes to the registration page it redirects her to a page saying she is restricted

Um well ask her to give you a screen shot or the exact message she is getting.
Also i am assuming you are in contact with her some how..

You can always ask her what email and user name she wants to use and you can register her her, then activate her and send her the pass you created for the account, Then once she logs in she can change her pass to what she wants

Other then that we need to know what message she is getting or a screen shot.

her computer is unable to take a screenshot, but she says it says "REstricted" in large letters. and yea, i talk to her on FB and on a "free"webs site that i mad,e but there are going to be too many members for me to be able to pay for a freewebs site[which is name is false advertising since it costs a ton] and so im moving all of my friends and rp family there so that we can still be together. and she is saying that it is redirecting her to the page that says restricted no matter what page she goes too....

Try and Resynchronize your forum... Admin panel -> General -> forum -> configuration -> Check resynch forum and click save

ok i tried that, i told her to retry, waiting for a response from her to see if it worked...
