Chatbox not displaying properly Empty Chatbox not displaying properly

Hi I put a new skin on my forum the members really want this skin but the chat box will not display the messages correctly. The chat box live message area is solid green and when I send a message it looks like the text is underneath the solid green with just the top of the text peaking out. Can anybody suggest how I might resolve it please.

It is a phpbb3 skin
