Forumotions Admin Panel Security - Hacked

I have my security Admin Panel set to this :

A Administrator at my forum asked why doesn't he have admin anymore :


I go to AP>General>Security and find this :

Leo is my name, Happy is the other admin.
[15:52:52] is when my admin reported he wasn't Admin anymore. And 3:59 was when I logged into the Admin Panel. I didn't demote anyone and the other admins didn't demote anyone either because it doesn't show up on the security.

I want answers. Why does Forumotion say that ForuMotion forums can't be hacked, yet, they can be hacked or else I wouldn't be reporting this on a topic along with other people too .

Because the forum itself can not be hacked. An administrator's account could be hacked. Then the hacker has access to the administration panel.

When you logged in to your forum was the member still in the administrator usergroup and had the color of the group?

But my account wasn't hacked. When I checked in the admin panel, no has logged in but me. And I still had the same IP address and not some hackers proxy IP address.

And no, everyone except for me was taken out of the Administrator group and their color was gone.

I did do a backup about 4 days ago.
But it hasn't affected anyone's position until now.

I'm sorry but some times the backup will take some time to do all you have asked of it

I'm 99.9% sure this is what made the problem come about and not a hack of any sort, That is why i asked if you had done a backup in the last 3 days or so as this can take longer then we think to do it's backup

Not really sure why this problem comes about in the first place but it's just one of them little bugs the Tech's need to fix..

Did you try it in Advanced??

There is not any Advanced page on the ACP for the logs of admin or mods
there is only what he is looking at now and i think i have told him what the problem was it's to do with a back up that was slow on he's forum
The back up removed the staff why we do not know but it's done it to me each time i have backed up my site to a later date.

It's ok we all get a little upset when it comes to our hard work and i know how you feel and i'm glad we was of help to you on this matter.
