phpBB2 Background behind logo?
Is there a way to set an image behind the logo in phpBB2?
I know in version 3 it's very easy under the design tab, but I can't use version 3 because it doesn't allow you to adjust the templates. I have a logo with no background and I want to keep it that way because not everyone uses the same resolution (obviously) so the logo doesn't get pushed off to the side or cut off for different users or when the window is resized. However, I'd like there to be a background behind it.

Yes, that's what I want to do.
My site is set to invite only so you can't really see it unless you log in.
If absolutely necessary I can make you a dummy account.

I need the link but I don't need an account as I can see your header as a guest.

Re: phpBB2 Background behind logo?
To add an image behind your logo in phpBB2 you'll need to add this to CSS & replace the image link in it with yours.
If that is not what you wanted explain a bit better. Thanks.
- Code:
img#i_logo {
background-image: url('http://hitskin.com/themes/18/70/03/i_header_bg.png');
}

Re: phpBB2 Background behind logo?
Under what template and section do I add this?
General > Overall Header?
I'm not sure where to put the code.

AP > Display > Colors > CSS sheet on the top.

Re: phpBB2 Background behind logo?
I entered this in Overall Header:
img#i_logo {
background-image: url('https://i.servimg.com/u/f43/16/33/13/87/untitl10.jpg');
}
And all it does is put that code in the upper left corner of the page, no image, just the code text in the corner.

Re: phpBB2 Background behind logo?
Okay, it sort of worked, but not exactly.
Check my page again to see what it did.
I don't want the background image limited to the size of the logo image. I'd like it to occupy the entire white space behind the logo.

Re: phpBB2 Background behind logo?
Also, I notice that when I click and drag the logo, the background goes with it, making me think they are linked. I'd like the background to be static so that when the page is re-sized for users with smaller res. screens, the background can vanish in one direction or the other without messing up the logo.
Basically, I want the background to be completely independent from the logo in size and movement.
