Problem: Unable to create poll

Hi,

I have had a few instances in which I was unable to create a poll ( I am the forum administrator, and I have the rights to do so). However, the option to do so, at the bottom of the page, does not appear.

I have been able to create a poll in this thread before, but I can't seem to do so after this poll.

I have checked in other categories and forums and there is a similar situation to this.

Can any one offer any assistance?

Hi make sure your settings are turned on in your ACP
I see the bar at the bottom of that Screen shot Have you tried to click it to open the bar?

To see if your settings are set right please take a look at your setting by going to

ACP >>
General Tab

Forum >>

• Categories and forums
  

Look for the forum you have the problem in and hit the
look to see if the setting (Create a poll) has a tick in if for you then save

I have tried to click and open the bar. I have checked the permissions already, as I alluded to above (sorry if I wasn't clear).

ok it sounds like a problem with a conflicting Javascript try and turn your Java off and see if you still get the problem if you don't then you will need to re look over your codes

Exactly you should have a button on the option, calendar, and add a poll section that will open the bars. It looks like you are missing all three. Have you changed skins or versions lately?

Yeah I started off with Invision, but I changed to phpbb. Although, after I changed to phpbb, I was able to use the poll. But like this, it was hit and miss. Most times I couldn't.

Hover over/mouse-over the right hand side of your option bars.

then looks like you will have to add your + images back in your pic's management.

Somehow those buttons had been removed, and when I had been able to post a poll in the past it was because that drop down menu was already exposed.
