Problems are back with the Warning sign
Could someone please have a read on the Thread and let me know what you think . Some people are getting this message and some aint , some use Chrome and some use Firefox . I as Admin have used both and have no problems at all . It is not a good sign if we want to attract new members .
Thanks

You must still have some images from that site on your forum.

Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
Sanket , as I said some people are getting it but not everyone . I have logged out as Admin and logged in again and I dont have a problem , I have also done the same using Firefox and Google Chrome browser , still no problem . I have deleted the pictures that we found that was causing this and some members said it had worked . If you read through Topic I posted you will see more clearly who is having this warning and who is,nt
Sig . Is there an easier way of checking all pictures we have on the Forum instead of going through every single Thread one by one as that will take ages ?

Delete the cookies & cache for your browser, ask your members to do the same. I think that will fix the problem.

Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
Hi,
Please kindly remind Blakey that FireFox DOES have a Malware prevention ability and they had it long before Chrome had theirs
If the one individual is having it from one location, ask them to use a different device on the connection, for example, if connected via a cable, generally yellow or blue "category 5" ask them to connect to a different computer, or if via WiFi, get them to use a different device, such as a neighbors mobile device. If it continues,`I can further assist. If it stops then the issue is on that Laptop/Device and they should do a scan with Avast! Free Scan & Removal and then it should be detected and removed.
Avast is the best if the free, and is I believe #3 of the paid, only to AVG because of the brand name.
I may be wrong on that number, I haven't seen CNet numbers for quite a while
EDIT: Hey Geezer, Ive seen your reply, and Ill reply after I get some sleep! (Heh, its 02.31am!)

Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
For some Sanket but not all as you can see when you read the Thread
http://cockneyboys.forumotion.co.uk/t1740-geez-you-might-want-to-investigate-this
I really dont know what to do next , all the suspect pictures have been removed and our members have followed all the tips from here but the problem is still there . It does not look good when I am working hard to get new members , no one wants to join a forum when the first thing they see is a kicka**e WARNING sign , seems like I am flogging a dead horse at the moment

Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
Weird, for most it worked with the clear cache & it was back after opening the thread link you posted?

I need some more help here people , its not good advertising for my forum
Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
The problem is that it does not happen anymore for any of us.

Think its getting solved for most of them, i still believe clearing the cookies & cache would solve the problem. The reason being, i knew of a forum & it had a similar problem wherein they were getting a warning. So after the content was removed, the warning still remained even after it was actually gone for other users who visited the site freshly. Once i cleaned the cache & cookies, the warning disappeared for me.

Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
I,ll post your answer Sanket and we will see how things go . I thank you for all you help
Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
Geezer, can you provide me an account to login with, since the warning is showing up when logged in exclusively? Ofcause, details via PM please.
Sanket's stealing my idea again
Can the affected users clear their DNS Cache?
Win 7: Start > Type in 'cmd' and it should return with a black box called 'cmd'
In it TYPE: ipconfig /flushdns hit enter AFTER IT SAID IT WAS SUSCESSFUL TYPE THIS ipconfig /renew hit enter.
Have you also got any JavaScripts selected to either 'in all pages' or 'in the topics'?
Also, Google can take a few weeks to re-check websites and verify it's safety.
It's rare that only a few selected users have the abnomaly of it continueing after everyone else.
Lets see if everyone has it cleared up now?

Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
Thanks for your help mate , pm sent and do you mean Javascript codes in "Enable Javascript codes management " if so that is bocked " Yes"
Re: Problems are back with the Warning sign
Just went through your site, and I can't seem to replicate it, or find anything with reference to the warning in the original post. On Chrome and FireFox.
Because of that, I'm going to have to rely on the responses of your users who do have this come up.
Yes, I do mean the javascript management. Wait until one of the affected users come online, and when their online disable the javascript management. If the error stops, re-enable javascripts, and if the error returns, it's one of your javascripts.
I'll keep an eye on the situation for a few more days
