The problem should be fixed now.

A DNS change has caused this problem. Now, the base DNS configuration has been restored.

Please clear your cache and cookies and check if this issue is fixed, as it should be.

If it's not, here are some different operations that can help to fix the issue :

• Close your browser
  
• Reboot your Internet connection
  
• Clear the DNS cache with an ipconfig/flushdns process (How to do this ?)
  
• If that still doesn't work, save your current DNS info somewhere else and try to change temporarily your DNS for the DNS provided by Google (How to do this ?)
  
  If after all these operations, you still have the loading issues, please provide us :
  
  
• The forum(s) concerned
  
• A screenshot of the error message
  
• Your ISP

Adding to the frustration of not being able to get to my sites, most images on forumotion (the sites I can access by changing the host file) won't load for me now. That is to say, images hosted on forumotion's servers will no longer load but images linked from servers not associated with forumotion (ie a photobucket account) load fine. So this is definitely a forumotion issue and not an issue with the images themselves.

Considering Darren1 keeps claiming the problem is fixed it should be 'correcting itself' not getting worse. So I'd personally appreciate it if this helper would stop feeding people a load of bull by claiming the issue is resolved when it clearly is still affecting people. It's only resolved when no one is having a problem. -_-;

I'm simply relaying the information being passed from our French community, being that the company is French, and so are the developers, most information in obtainable there.
You can see from yourself that the French Volunteers, and even the developers themselves have said what I have said.

I'm using a proxy server site at the moment, to access this site as well as others. I can get on using my BlackBerry too, but I wish to not use it to access sites. I hope this problem is fixed soon on Monday.

Since I don't speak French, could you tell me what they're saying the problem is? If not, I guess I could use a translator to translate it. I'd just hate to go through all their posts trying to find it

Hi, Have you followed the various suggestions below in order :


1) Clear your browser cache and delete cookies. ( How? )
2) Close your browser.
3) Restart your modem / box / ADSL box.
4) Open the "Start" menu on your computer, write "cmd" in the search and open the proposed application (! open the application as administrator on Vista!) , type "ipconfig / displaydns", validate, then type "ipconfig / flushdns" and press well.
5) Try to reconnect to the forums.
6) If it does not work, change the DNS of your connection ( How to do ). You can also restart your computer once.


If after all these steps and it still does not work (especially after step 6), thank you clarify completely this:

I can connect to my forum at teller55.foru... but pictures don't load at all and some icons display broken links, the same is with this help forum, half of the emoticons are showing broken links. The second forum I can't connect at all to.

I have had several users with log in issues over the last few days.

I have had them follow the standard method of dealing with these issues but for many it is unresolved.
Some cannot load from smartphones and others from IE or Mozilla from standard PCs.

i just change my dns server.
and when i complete change it, i press ok .
and then i try to dc and connect again. their dns back to the first dns.. i didnt know why
