Strange Email Sent To Forum Member

A new forum member of my forum sent me the following message:

I received an email from the above which used my username from here and referred to another site as my login, as well as my email address. Is this legit from here or what is it?

And this:

Hello MEMBERS FORUM NAME INSERTED,

You receive this automatic e-mail because your account on "Servimg" - https://servimg.com has been created from your board account.

Please notice that you can log in with the following information :
Login : *MY EMAIL ADDRESS WAS HERE*
Password : The board one

Can anyone tell me if this related to forummotion, how so and whats going on?
The member - and I am somewhat concerned about this.

Yea, I know that but just to put a mind at ease, signing up to any forum, just means automatically that they are signed up then with the ability to use that service?
I'm guessing the member was contacting myself over data access/retention for own use, issues.
